Welcome to the DYC!

The Downtown Youth Clinic (DYC) is the place for HIV-positive teenagers and young adults (13-24) in the Bay Area to get the medical care and other support you need to move into a positive direction of physical, emotional and social wellbeing.

At the Downtown YOUth Clinic it’s all about YOU:

We will welcome you whoever you are: male, female, trans-folk, gender-queer, gender variant, queer, gay, straight, MSM, lesbian, bisexual, questioning, DL, African-American/African/Black, Latin@/Chican@, Asian-American/Asian Pacific Islander/ South Asian/Southeast Asian/Pan-Asian, Caucasian/Anglo/White, and Native American/American Indian.
We will respect any limits you set on your care and treatment.

All our services are free of charge, even if you don’t have insurance.

We are part of the East Bay AIDS Center (EBAC), the leader in providing primary HIV care among East Bay community hospitals.

We are bilingual and bicultural, providing services in English and in Spanish.

Most important, all of our services are private and confidential.
